The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013
If you are a consumer (buying for purposes outside your trade or business) and you agree a contract with us at a distance, for example online, by phone or by email, or away from our premises, you normally have the right to cancel within 14 days without giving a reason. For services, the 14 days start from the day the contract is made.
Many of our services are supplied straight away. If you ask us to start a service within the 14-day cancellation period and then cancel, you will need to pay for the service provided up to the time you tell us you are cancelling. If the service has been fully provided within the cancellation period at your request, and you acknowledged that you would lose the right to cancel once it was complete, the right to cancel no longer applies. Goods made or configured to your own specification cannot normally be returned under these regulations.
